The Amcor AHD65E 65-Pint Dehumidifier looks like the large capacity dehumidifier for your medium room, with all the features such as 2-speed fan, humidistat, bucket or hose drainage options, washable air filter, timer and indicator light. But this model seems to be receiving more bad comments than good ones from owners.

At least five of the owners have complained about the poor customer service they received from Amcor. They assert that the customer service either refused to help with their problem, telling them to find other technicians, or never called back after promising to.
Two reviewers received the model which didn’t work from the start, and one other had trouble setting it up. There were also two owners whose Amcor AHD65E stopped working after a short time.
The handle of the bucket appears to be flimsy too. It broke loose with two of the owners. Another person complained that the dehumidifier was slightly damaged during shipment, but didn’t specify which part was damaged. Someone else found fault with the hose which leaked at the connection for his model.
Summary
However, despite all the protests, there were several other owners who claimed that their Amcor AHD65E worked perfectly for them, extracting moisture from the air at a good and fast rate. Therefore it is rather up to you to decide, whether it is pure luck with the purchase.
